ARBITRADE advised on transaction for purchase of Brasilian soybeans in the amount of 18 million U.S. dollars
ARBITRADE provided full transactional support for the purchase of Brazilian soybeans in the amount exceeding 18 million U.S. dollars. The lawyers drafted specific contractual provisions in order to maximize the protection of buyers’ interests, which included modification of the delivery basis CIF delivered, determination of the finality of the quality and condition at the place of discharge, special procedure for confirmation of the fact that the goods are GMO free, application of the combination of financial instruments adopted for the purposes of the deal, specific definition of the moment of passing of title etc. The agreement was based on the FOSFA (The Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations) and ANEC (National Association of Grain Exporters) contracts.
