The 2019 Directory has also acknowledged ARBITRADE legal practitioners’ accomplishments in the field of Agribusiness.

Pavlo Trytenichenko, ARBITRADE’S Managing Partner, was noted as one of the most prominent legal practitioners in International Trade. Andriy Shulga, Head of International Arbitration Practice, was mentioned as a proficient lawyer in several fields, including Agribusiness, International Arbitration, International Trade and Litigation. Further, the Directory commended Yuliya Chernykh: ‘Bright Yuliya Chernykh, of counsel, in addition to her work as a party representative, remained active in many other capacities in the arbitration community. She is regularly appointed as an arbitrator and is a National Correspondent for Ukraine for the UNCITRAL Clout system’.

Specific attention was given to the Firm’s achievements in International Arbitration: ‘In 2018 ARBITRADE’s investment arbitration practice received a boost, with an award delivered in favor of its client in investment arbitration proceedings under ICSID rules (…). The department has also seen a wide variety of commercial arbitration cases under the rules of a number of arbitration institutions: ICC, VIAC, LCIA, the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw’.

Mentioning ARBITRADE among the ‘established practices’ in the field of Agribusiness, the Directory emphasized that ‘given ARBITRADE’s noted strength in arbitration and structuring complex transactions, its core focus was on representing clients in disputes related to trade in agrarian produce and commodities. The firm has been regularly instructed on arbitrations under GAFTA and FOSFA arbitration rules, as well as in cases heard in Ukrainian courts on strategic litigations’.

Ukrainian Law Firms 2019 also published an article by ARBITRADE’s counsel Anastasiya Grenyuk under the title ‘Commodities Trade and Force Majeure Events’, as part of its review of the Commodities Arbitration practice area.
