First issue of Ukrainian Alternative Dispute Resolution journal published
The Alternative Dispute Resolution journal is a brand new publication which seeks to be the major source for scholarly material on alternative dispute resolution in Ukraine. It is a standalone journal although officially it enjoys the status of an annex to the “Law of Ukraine” published since 1922.
The ADR journal was started in 2012 and will be published twice per year. The first issue is already available and includes law review articles from renowned Ukrainian and foreign alternative dispute resolution practitioners with topics ranging from drafting ADR clauses to issues of determination of legality of investments by international tribunals. The first issue also includes sections on commercial (both international and domestic) and investment arbitration, overview of Austrian arbitration law and the new 2012 ICC arbitration rules, as well as one section specifically devoted to mediation.
The first issue is published in Ukrainian, starting from the second issue on the Alternative Dispute Resolution journal will be published in Russian. Subscription is open to lawyers, law professors and students practicing or interested in alternative dispute resolution in Ukraine and worldwide.
