Yuliya Chernykh acted as an arbitrator in Kiev Pre-moot for the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court
On 22 February 2013 the Kiev Pre-moot for the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court was held at the Institute of International Relations at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Ukraine. The Pre-Moot in Kyiv will complete the set of Practice Moot Courts with others to be held in Washington D.C., London, Hong Kong and Mumbai. The final rounds of the competition will take place on the campus of Goethe University in Frankfurt on Main in March 2013.
Yuliya Chernykh, partner with ARBITRADE was invited to judge the participants of the Pre-moot.
The Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court is the international student competition focusing on investment protection. The event is organized by Wilhelm Merton Centre for European Integration and International Economic Order of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University (Frankfurt on Main). During the competition the students present their arguments orally before tribunals of arbitration composed of investment treaty specialists. It provides a unique opportunity for participating student teams to engage with international investment law and investment arbitration.
