Yuliya Chernykh spoke at the first Polish-Ukrainian Twin Conference: International Arbitration in Kiev
On 26 of April 2013 Yuliya Chernykh, partner with ARBITRADE Attorneys-at-Law spoke at the first Polish-Ukrainian Twin Conference jointly organized by the ADR Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration at the Institute of International Relations, the National Taras Shevshenko University of Kiev. Yuliya focused on Ukrainian view over obstacles to efficient international arbitration.
Among the speakers and moderators of the Conference there were Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz (President of the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration), Irina Nazarova (Head of Committee for ADR of Ukrainian Bar Association and Managing Partner at ENGARDE), Pawl Lewandowski (Partner at Domański Zakrzewski Palinka), Andriy Dubetsky (Representative of Warsaw Stock Exchange Office in Kiev), Przemyslaw P.Krzywosz (Partner at Przemyslaw P. Krzywosz Kancelaria Prawna), Darya Rigaud (Deputy Counsel at ICC International Court of Arbitration) and some other notable practitioners.
The conference programme included a number of key presentations on Polish and Ukrainian arbitration systems, their positive features and pitfalls.
